How long till you see some hair growth with the NoFap challenge? And what about me? I am so happy that I took on this challenge and even happier about how it turned out for me. This is what happened to my hair after taking part in the NOFAP challenge. It’s been over 2 months since then, and my hair has grown more than 3 inches long…and much healthier as well.

Here are some of the highlights from my experience
Before starting this journey into something new, I was at least 6-7 weeks past any significant shedding or thinning…which means all of my hair had already started growing back. My scalp felt oily, but not too bad. Not like those days when your scalp feels tight and sore during the first few days of shaving off your beard/mustache etc. That feeling you get right after waxing your legs. Now my head sorta feels “full” without being uncomfortable. Just enough space left behind by shaved hairs, which still feel kinda soft. But yeah, my scalp does have an oily smell now, especially if I haven’t showered yet. I just keep telling myself that it will go away soon. I’ve got to wash up anyway, right?
My eyebrows were pretty sparse while I was doing the challenge, so they’re thicker and darker now. They look great! I think I can pass off having them done professionally as getting some REAL eyebrow growth going on here. I hope so;-)
During my last shave, I noticed a little bit of stubble growing back around my neckline. Kind of annoying, but hey, better than nothing. So far, I don’t notice anything different happening below the belt though. Maybe later tonight could shed light on the situation there.
Now, let’s talk about my overall appearance. Overall, I’d say my skin looks noticeably less puffy lately. I mean, compared to just a couple of days ago. Also, my eyes seem clearer and brighter, probably due to the lack of drinking coffee and water intake today. However, my nose tends to be redder than normal these days. Could be allergies again. Or maybe it’s cuz I’m exercising harder. Oh well.
My body transformation
The most noticeable change in terms of weight gain, however, would be my belly fat. It seems to be shrinking faster than usual. I guess I must have lost some pounds recently. Gotta stay focused here guys 🙂
One thing I need to work on is waking up earlier, preferably earlier than 7 am every day. I know it sounds crazy, but I have such trouble staying awake until noon nowadays that sometimes only 10 minutes of sleep can throw me off the schedule completely. I gotta stop letting things get to me late at night.
So how did I do it?
Well, I stayed on track by following a very strict diet plan, NoFap, and sticking to the rules 100%. One where I didn’t indulge in any alcohol whatsoever. Yes, even beer. There are several reasons for this. First of all, I wanted to make sure I wouldn’t accidentally end up consuming ANYTHING alcoholic while sleeping. Secondly, I needed to cut down on caffeine consumption. Thirdly, I knew that cutting out everything caffeinated would help me wake up easier. And finally, I figured that once I reach my goal of losing 20lbs, I’ll be able to drink whatever I want anytime I damn, please.
It wasn’t easy. At times, I thought about cheating on my diet, just one time. Once. But then I realized that it might screw up my progress. After thinking about it, I decided against it. If I went through with it, it would have taken me another week to lose the extra 5 lbs. Plus, I was way ahead of schedule. I couldn’t afford to waste any more time. I also wanted to take advantage of the opportunity of gaining more muscle mass and strength.
Anyway, I managed to stick with the diet pretty closely. Occasionally I ate foods that weren’t allowed, but never for long periods. As for the exercise routine, I followed a fairly tough workout program designed specifically for men named ‘Strong’. You follow each workout session with a specific rest period. Each workout lasts between 45 – 60 mins depending on what level you start at. You’re supposed to complete 4 sessions per week. I completed 3 of those.
But I never quit! I was still going with my streak
As expected, the workouts were extremely intense. And few times I was about to quit, but whenever I wanted to quit I have reread the urge killer techniques. And thanks to them, I was able to stay on track. I usually find cardio exercises boring, but this one gave me plenty of energy. I was sweating buckets, panting heavily, and breathing hard, but still found the motivation to push myself further. Kept me motivated throughout the entire process. Still doing no fap!
Overall, I experienced absolutely zero side effects of quitting smoking. Neither health problems nor mood swings. Of course, everyone reacts differently to certain substances. Some people may develop headaches after eating chocolate, others may become irritable after their morning cup of Joe, etc., but I didn’t experience any negative reactions whatsoever. On top of that, I gained 12lbs of lean muscle mass within 8 weeks. All thanks to healthy nutrition.
I highly recommend anyone who wants to achieve similar results should give this lifestyle change a try. Even if you aren’t interested in becoming a bodybuilder, you should still benefit tremendously from adopting this type of lifestyle change. Why? Because nofap made my hair a lot smoother, silkier, and stronger than ever before.
Nofap Unbelievable Hair Regrowth I have experienced!
In short, the reason my hair grew so fast was that I stopped using products containing sulfates. Sulfate detergents contain chemicals called Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, Sodium Laureth Sulphate, and Laureth sulfate. These three ingredients belong to the group known as surfactants. Surfactant molecules attach themselves to both oil and water, forming tiny micelles which act as soap bubbles. When used regularly, these compounds cause serious damage to our hair follicles by clogging pores and preventing moisture from reaching its destination. Our bodies naturally produce oils, but we cannot replace natural oils like sebum produced by our skins. Without proper moisturizing, our hair becomes dry and brittle, resulting in breakage and split ends.
Sodium lauryl sulfate prevents moisture from penetrating deep inside the shafts of the hair, causing the outer layer of the hair to thicken up and form scales. Over time, repeated use of sodium lauryl sulfate causes severe irritation and inflammation of our scalp and dander. Repeated application of shampoo cleansers can lead to hair greying and premature graying.
Laureth sulfate works similarly to Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, although a fraction of the number of harmful ingredients is present. Both of these two ingredients easily penetrate deep inside the hair shaft. This leads to the weakening of the hair, making it weaker and fragile. Eventually, the hair breaks apart under stress, leading to bald spots and tangles. In addition, hair colorists often avoid applying dye to areas treated by sodium lauryl sulfate and laureth sulfate, fearing chemical burns.
Did it help also with skincare?
If you suffer from extreme acne, psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, or other conditions affecting your skin, consult your doctor before using shampoos that contain harsh chemicals. Check labels carefully and choose milder alternatives whenever possible. Using natural herbal remedies instead of conventional ones has many benefits. Natural herbs treat diseases holistically without damaging sensitive tissues and organs. Herbs stimulate blood circulation, remove toxins from cells, strengthen capillaries, build immunity, and reduce cholesterol levels. Many organic plant extracts have proven anti-inflammatory properties, fighting infection, speeding wound healing, relieving pain, restoring elasticity, and rejuvenating damaged tissue. Organic herbal medicines have fewer side effects than synthetic drugs. Most importantly, they promote good health and fight disease effectively.
So is there a link between NoFap and hair regrowth? Some people believe that due to the increase of testosterone levels as a result of no masturbation, there could be potential for more hair growth. However, there has yet to be any concrete evidence to support this claim. So far, all scientific research points to the fact that masturbation and sex are not related to hair loss or regrowth.
NoFap and Hair Regrowth: The Science
There is a recent trend of people abstaining from masturbation called “NoFap”. Some people believe that due to the increase of testosterone levels as a result of no masturbation, there could be potential for more hair growth. However, there has yet to be any concrete evidence to support this claim. So far, all scientific research points to the fact that masturbation and sex are not related to hair loss or regrowth.
One study conducted by the University of Utah looked at the link between sex and hair loss. The study found that there was no significant correlation between the two. The study found that those who had sex more often had less hair loss. Another, more recent study looks at the effects of testosterone on hair loss.
